Dr Samantha Sundercombe is a graduate of the University of Sydney with degrees in Advanced Science (Genetics) and Medicine. She trained as a Genetic Pathologist at NSW Health Pathology and Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology (DHM) and has been a Genetic Pathologist at DHM since 2022.

Actively involved in the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia, Dr Sundercombe is a member of the RCPA Genetics Advisory Committee and Path Update Genetics Scientific Program Committee. Dr Sundercombe has published and presented research on the translation of genetic testing into clinical practice.
