Nicola Flowers is a clinical scientist and the Group Leader of the Non-invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT) laboratory at Victorian Clinical Genetics Services (VCGS). With a strong background in cytogenetics, Nicola oversees the day-to-day operations of the laboratory. She has played a pivotal role in the validation and implementation of percept NIPT. Nicola enjoys introducing efficient systems and automation, which has supported the laboratory's sustainable growth. VCGS were early adopters of genome-wide NIPT and have developed several novel applications of this technology.
