Professional Bio
Dr Louise Seymour is an experienced molecular haematologist and a leader in diagnostic genomics within Queensland. Since achieving accreditation in RCPA Haematology Genomics Module 3 in 2019 she has driven the widespread introduction of panel based NGS testing for both DNA and RNA within Queensland state hospitals. She continues to advocate for the rational use of NGS based testing in haematology and its integration into all aspects of patient care including diagnostic decision making and personalised approaches to treatment. Louise’s ongoing interests include the continual improvement in diagnostic test offerings in molecular haematology driven by scientific discovery and embracing innovative technologies.
