A/Prof Trishe Leong is the current President of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia, having previously served as the RCPA Vice President, RCPA Treasurer/Secretary and prior to that as the International Vice President of the Australasian Division of the International Academy of Pathology. She has been a member of the Steering Committee of the International Collaboration on Cancer Reporting and the Deputy Chair of the Cytopathology Advisory Committee for the College. 

  

A/Prof Leong obtained her RCPA fellowship in 2005 and is an anatomical pathologist whose primary areas of interest are molecular pathology, gynaecological pathology and breast pathology. She holds an MBA with a major in biotechnology, a Master of Health Services Management and is also an Associate Fellow of the Royal College of Medical Administrators. After 15 years in management positions in Victorian public pathology laboratories, she has recently moved to a new role in the private sector with Melbourne Pathology.
