Professional Bio
Dr Juliette Holland trained in microbiology at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Royal Perth Hospital Western Australia, and IMVS and the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide, where she also gained her Masters in Virology and Mycology. In 1998 she undertook Post-fellowship training at ICPMR, Westmead Hospital and subsequently practised at the Sexual Health Clinic and was a Deputy Editor for the Medical Journal of Australia.
She Joined Laverty Pathology in 2000 and became head of the microbiology department in 2003. She has been a member of the QAP serology advisory committee and an assessor for NATA. She has been a college examiner since 2001 and was appointed chief examiner in microbiology in 2018.
