Dr Janine Rowse is a forensic physician at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine, having completed the requirements for the Master of Forensic Medicine and Fellowship of the Faculty of Clinical Forensic Medicine (RCPA). She is also a qualified general practitioner. She is passionate about using research as a tool to understand emerging trends in clinical forensics. Her research interests include the evolving role of communication technologies in facilitating sexual assault of children and adults, which she is further exploring as a PhD candidate with the Department of Forensic Medicine, Monash University, in collaboration with the Victorian Forensic Paediatric Medical Service.
