Isaac Freelander is a dual trainee in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology, and the current Microbiology Advanced Trainee at Nepean Hospital. He has a strong research background in the basic sciences, being awarded the University Medal in Chemistry at the University of Sydney for his work on drug design for neurodegenerative disorders. His interests include gram-negative antimicrobial resistance, antimicrobial stewardship and medical education.
