Dr Irene Low graduated from the University of Otago in 1999 and completed her Anatomical Pathology training in New Zealand. She was granted FRCPA in 2006 and has practiced in various laboratories in England, Western Australia and New Zealand. Since 2014, she has been working at Middlemore Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand. Her main areas of interest are in bone and soft tissue pathology, and cytopathology.  She has been an examiner for the RCPA since 2015 and is one of the current assistant chief examiners.
