Dr Ellie Simpson is the Senior Forensic Anthropologist at Forensic Science SA, with over 20 years’ experience in skeletal recovery, analysis and interpretation.  She is an Affiliate Senior Lecturer at The University of Adelaide, and a sessional lecturer at Swinburne University.  Dr Simpson is a Founding Fellow of the Faculty of Science, Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia.  She currently chairs the Medical Sciences Specialist Advisory Group (Chair since 2023), which represents Australian and New Zealand leaders and practitioners in Forensic Anthropology, Odontology, Entomology and Mortuary Management.
