RCPA offers four Pathology Education Outreach Grants to pathologists or pathology Trainees from developing communities to attend Pathology Update 2025.
The College will provide each successful applicant with:
- Return economy airfare
- Hotel accommodation for up to four nights, including breakfast
- Full registration for Pathology Update (excluding workshops), which includes morning/afternoon tea and lunch plus tickets for our social events
Selection criteria
Applicants must be a pathologist or a pathology Trainee and must be currently actively practising pathology in a developing community. To apply, you must reside in one of the following countries:
- Bhutan
- East Timor
- Fiji
- Indonesia
- Kiribati
- Nepal
- Papua New Guinea
- Samoa
- Solomon Islands
- Tonga
- Vanuatu
- Vietnam
The Pathology Update Overseeing Committee administers these grants and selects the successful candidates. All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application.

How to apply
- Complete the application form: Pathology Update Pathology Education Outreach (PEO) Grant Application Form
- Write a one-page covering letter explaining how you meet the selection criteria and why you would like to attend Pathology Update 2025
- Send the completed application form and your covering letter with your CV (this should be no more than two pages long) via email to careersevents@rcpa.edu.au by Monday 14 October 2024. If possible, please combine all your documents into a single PDF.
